Chuka University First-Year Student Wins Car in Khetias Supermarket Promotion

Bonface Ondigi Mogaka, a first-year student at Chuka University, has become the proud owner of a Daihatsu Mira car, courtesy of the Khetias Supermarket Chota Kuchota 2024 promotion.

Participating in a raffle held by Khetias Supermarket, Ondigi emerged as the latest victor, much to his disbelief and elation.

"I have never dreamt that I could be a winner of a car, let alone a raffle. I am extremely thankful to God," expressed Ondigi, visibly overwhelmed by his stroke of luck.

Encouraging fellow residents of Chuka and Ndagani to patronize Khetias Supermarket, Ondigi shared his own experience, highlighting his consistent support for the establishment since his arrival at the university.

"I was not shopping for a reward, but I can confirm that such competitions are true. I am a first-year student, but I have been doing my shopping here since I arrived at the university," affirmed Ondigi.

Reflecting on the moment he received the life-changing news, Ondigi recounted his initial disbelief, mistaking the call informing him of his win as a joke.

"When I was called, I thought it was a joke. I boarded a motorcycle here, and I found out that I had won. I was also encouraged by my friends to come and confirm after the supermarket management called me. I was doubtful at first," shared Ondigi, reminiscing about the surreal moment.

Fredrick Ochieng, on behalf of Khetias Supermarket, extended his gratitude to the branch's loyal customers for their unwavering support. He noted that the annual competition spans across four branches in the region—Meru, Chuka, Maua, and Nyeri—with previous editions seeing winners from the Meru and Nyeri branches.
