Body Lotions are a low viscosity topical preparation intended for application on the skin. They are used as moisturizer to treat or prevent dry skin and are made daily with more research on the products used. They are made by different brands with products that soften the skin making it more lively than before.

Body Lotions mostly are not advised to be used on face especially for individuals who have oily skin, acne-prone or sensitive skin. Most brands don't advise on use of the lotions on faces as the lotions are made to act on skin with deep layers as in the hands and legs and not on the face as the skin is very light and can easily be damaged by the many chemicals used in the preparation for the lotion.

Lotions are made to get the perfect feeling on the skin for ladies while there are a few that men use them. Ladies are particularly involved in this section of skin care and most pay attention to the lotions they use alongside sprays,gels or any other products they use for skin and hair care. One choses that which aligns with his or her interests and also the skin type one has.

In Kenya there are different brands and companies that have entered the competition of making these lotions,with most leading lotions such as Vaseline, Dove lotions , Nivea and Nice and Lovely. Such are some of the most expensive lotions and products in the market. Others like Zoe,Cerave, Cocoa butter,Venusia and others are some of the most recognized and used by people.

Nivea is one of the most expensive and is said to be very eye-catching and pleasing to it's users such as Nivea beauty and radiation lotion with other types on the market as well as sprays and body creams. Vaseline is alongside and is commonly known and used by a large number of people in the country, it has a higher fragrance and is more viscous than Nivea. Vaseline Uv lightening body lotion is said to brighten the skin as well as other types that have brought the same results.

Nice and lovely body lotions have since been in the market for a long time but has been faced with stiff competition from other brands.

Aloe Pura and CeraVe are some of the best leading brands in Kenya with costs above normal lotions as in such for Zoe brand which is more affordable to most Kenyans. Zoe has posed a competition with more new lotions which are to the ladies liking. Yvonne Wamucii, a first year student in Chuka University compliments," Am using Zoe and I love it for the sweet scent and it leaves my skin radiant, I knew about it from a friend of mine some time ago." Zoe brand is rising considering the appreciation it has got from its many customers.

Body lotions and creams have become part of the ladies lives and most can't stay without them as they say. They bring confidence and self love to most ladies as they smell nice during the day bringing out the best in them. Some men too have started to use them for this reason.
