Chuka University students have been grappling with frustration over delays in receiving gate passes, initially expected to last a month, causing discomfort and inconvenience when accessing the institution.
University life is both exciting and challenging. As students, we’re constantly juggling academic pressures, social commitments, and personal responsibilities, often without realizing the toll it can take on our well-being. At Chuka University, many of us have already felt the frustration of navigating campus life, from dealing with long lines for gate passes to managing the stress that comes with deadlines and exams. But in the midst of it all, it’s important to remember that taking care of ourselves—mentally, emotionally, and physically—is just as crucial as keeping up with our studies.
One of the biggest challenges we've faced recently was the confusion around getting gate passes. What was supposed to be a straightforward process turned into a stressful ordeal, with students losing valuable items like phones in the crowded lines. However, this experience is a reminder that life at university can be unpredictable, and sometimes we need to be proactive in finding ways to manage the stress that comes with such situations.
