The African Giant Championing Pan-Africanism

Despite some of African leaders fighting and liberating African countries from greedy European whom oppressed, tortured , humiliated and made African slaves in their own countries still came other greedy African leaders whom also had some behavior as this Europeans until there was born African giants whom came to mobilise Africans to wake up and fight for their freedom fight for corruption and this African giant is no one other than Patric Loch Otieno Lumumba .

Plo Lumumba was born on July 17, 1962, in Kisumu, Kenya, but grew up in Usenge and Nairobi Kenya. He attended St. Joseph’s High School in Kitale, Kenya, before pursuing further education. PloLumumba holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He later earned a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Lumumba further pursued his studies at the University of Ghent in Belgium, where he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Law. He holds honorary Doctorate degrees from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana and Bells University in Nigeria. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a certified mediator. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya FCPS (K), a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM) and Honorary Fellow of the African Academic of sciences (FAAS).

PLO Lumumba wrote Various books like Kenya quest for criminology in kenya, The constitution of kenya, An outline of criminal procedure in kenya among others but one of the favourite Lumumbas'book is call for political hygiene in kenya. In this book Lumumba says their is no hygiene in kenyan politics and that's why people whom got attracted to Kenyan politicswe don't have very good things to say about them. Lumumba also says Africa is suffering because we keep electing the worst leaders among ourselves, that's greedy leaders whom grab whatever opportunity comes on the way only to benefit themselves.

In one of lumumbas speeches Lumumba says most of African countries suffer because we don't have democracy instead we have kakistocracy which means government by our very worst . Lumumba also asks whom do we elect in our public offices and gives an example of when you allow hyena to take care of the goat why should you be surprised when the goats are eaten? What Lumumba is trying to tell Africans there are enemies of progress in there own countries and they should wake up and choose their leaders wisely in in order to fight corruption in their countries.

Lumumba also says Africa won't rise by prayer and fasting. Most countries were able to get it right because of the conscious decisions on the part of leaders and their followers whom he said step up their desicion making in supporting uncorrupt leaders and leaders whom are eager to bring development in there countries. Lumumba quotes that Africans for some reasons are attracted to thieves , that's is women and men who can't serve and when they are not served they complain. He says when Africans are asked whom we shall release Jesus of Nazareth or Barabbas , they release Barabbas and when he behaves like Barabbas, they say why are you not behaving like christ .

In summery PLO Lumumba is one of Africa giants whom believes African continent can be one of the best continents if only Africans can wake up and elect able leaders whom are not tribal, corrupt and leaders whom are ready to serve there people. He also mobilises Africans to fight illiteracy as education and knowledge is catalyst for change in Africa . Lumumba also urges African to stay united through pan Africanism . African stories has been written by others now is time to write our story Lumumba says this as he tries to mean Africa should establish good governance free from corruption government which is able to manipulate there natural resources to boost economy of there countries to avoid relying to other European countries.
